Default Clutch cover help

I recently purchased a 98 GSR with a blown up motor with the intent of doing a LS/vtec swap. I did the swap, car runs great but the only problem I can't find a solution for is the clutch cover from the old set up doesn't fit with the new one. I tried searching for an answer because I'm sure others must have run into this problem but I couldn't find anything. The car will be a daily driver and will see bad weather so leaving it off isn't really an option. if anyone has any idea how to make it fit, or if there is an aftermarket one available I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for the help

why you didn't just rebuild the gsr motor and chose to devalue your car with a shitty bottom end i'm not quite sure of.

as for your question, what exactly isn't fitting? the black plate bolts to the transmission. does the LS block just not have the holes for the braces?

The GSR block was toast. The kid lost oil pressure and must have kept going. the main was gone and the block was destroyed. It was melted. I'm really surprised the head was ok. I looked into GSR blocks but they were to expensive. I'm in the flooring industry and we all know where the housing market is right now. I had to sell my STi and was looking to do something that was gas efficient and relatively reliable and cheap as possible.

yes the LS block doesn't have the holes for the brace

makes sense. sucks we didn't chat before you did this. one of my friends at english racing has a type r short block he was wanting 500 for.

you may be stuck just running the black cover and bolting it to the trans. only other option is drilling and tapping bolt holes if the casting has the bumps.
