Default time for new tires already

so, it looks liek after only 20k miles, its time for new tires... ive dont alot of work that cause the alignment to kept getting thrown off, so im not blaming the tires too much...

I also just started working at the walmart tire center so im looking into getting tires there just for ease so i can have them put on while im at work.... they dont have anything in stock for my size (195/60r14) so anything will have to be ordered... heres what comes up:

General tire Altimax HP (86H)
Hannkook Optimo H724 (85T)
Kumho Solus KR21 (85T)
Kumho Solus KH16 (85H)
Uniroyal TR TP touring (85T)

are any of those any good? not alot of snow here, but it does rain quite often... and im lookign to start doing some light track time. I also just went with that tire size last year because that what the PO had on there... Is there a different tire size i should be going with? i have ~2" drop and using 14" steelies

If you work at a tire center, why aren't you asking your co-workers?

...Inquiring minds...

I've had bad bad bad experiences with Kumho, so I've sworn them off for the last decade. They're probably better now, but I'd rather not.

Stock you have 185/60. If you get those, the tires will be slightly narrower and slightly shorter than the ones you have now. But they'll also be more affordable as they won't be a special order size.

As far as what tires are better, it really depends on you, your driving skills, driving habits, and driving style. Get what suits your style and wallet. An alignment and proper inflation will save you money in the long run.

We don't have access to the Hankook model you referenced, and don;t carry Uniroyal but have both Kumho models;

The KH16 is a little bit better for wet traction and has a higher speed rating (H) vs. the KR21 for what its worth, but none of them would be impressive on the track.

If you look at 185/60R14, there probably won't be much more variety either so if you want a serious tire for track and street, you will want to go to at least a 15" wheel.
