Falkens vr Michelin Tires
Right now I have a set of Energy MXV4 from Michelin and was looking for a new set of tires. I was wondering on your opinions of dry traction with the Falken Ziex ZE-512 vr the Energy MXV4. Any other opinions are welcome as long as they come in a 195\60\14 tire size.

I have a close friend who runs the 512s on some 17s (not 100% sure on tire sizing), but they do just fine. Not the stickeiest, but not all that loud.

check out http://www.tirerack.com They have 30 tires to choose from in that size. The Potenza G009's look pretty good considering the money and then theres the RE950 that looks good also. I noticed that your michelins are pretty expensive. I've always heard good things things about michelins great tire and they last a hell of a long time. They are expensive though. But I would rather buy a more expensive tire and have to replace it less often. Right now I have dunlop Sport A2's and the tread is about halfway and I'm looking at the goodyear gt-hr's. Nothing wrong with the A2's, they ride very well, tread has wore pretty evenly and they have about 30,000 miles on them now and I just want to go with something different.
