Default idle not steady - and more...

Hey what's up? I've looked everywhere but can't find an answer to my problem. After doing my swap to an h22a, I've run into a few problems. Once i fix one, i find another. For some reason, my car doesn't like to idle all the times. Sometimes its ok but other times it will jump up 500rpm and back down on its own. It does this for a good period of time. She'll idle at 750rpm and then go upto 1250rpm and back up and back down etc.. I have no freaking clue why its doing this. I ran a check on my diagnostic harness and got no engine codes from the check engine light. I'm thinking its my IAC. Also, sometimes as I'm driving it feels as if my car isn't pulling like it should. I'll floor the gas but it doesn't wanna move.. Its like a ton of weight was just added to my car. I'm clueless right now and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

sounds like a vacuum leak. Did you have the Intake manifold pulled off at any time?

The intake manifold was never removed but because it is electronically controlled and the f22 harness does not have an plug for it, my friends and I decided to make it run off a vacuum. I do not know exactly how they did it but I will find out and let you know. Maybe this is causing my problem..

Thanks for your help.. I really appreciate it.. I will keep you updated..

don't you find it irritating?? I hope its only a vacuum leak and it gets rid of my idle problem and the loss of power (which happens sometimes).

A lot of problems is when people reattach the Intake Manifold they have trouble reseating the new IM gasket properly and it gives them hell

try this, spray carb/intake cleaner around where the Intake manifold attaches to the head, if the idle goes to normal at some time you are spraying, then you got a IM gasket leak for sheezy.
