Icon2 88 Fuel Injected Civic - Bad Coil and/or Distributor Cap?

Hey guys/gals, would love your input.

Car turns over but won't start. Started with dying at idle shortly after starting, then moved to occasionally not starting when engine was hot but would after left alone for a bit. Finally died at idle and then wouldn't start again at all. I've already replaced plugs, wires, and fuel filter and tested the main relay.

Engine is definitely getting fuel and definitely not getting spark. I tested the coil and got resistance readings of .4 ohms for the primary coil and 12.4k for the secondary coil, which, according to this info, is out of spec. (Should be .6-.8 and 13.2-19.8 respectively.)

However, before buying a new coil I wanted to be sure that this was far enough out of spec to cause the car not to start.

Also, I'm not sure, but the contacts on the distributor cap don't seem to be in the greatest shape. I've posted a picture below, not sure if I could just clean the contacts or if I need a new cap? (Or maybe it's fine?)
