Default New slave cylinder problem

Ok first some background. The car is a b18b with a ls cable tranny. I put a new slave cylinder on and my clutch has no pressure, goes completely to the floor, but if I crack the bleeder screw on the slave its a steady stream of brake fluid. Sat here pumping the pedal for 10 minutes, still no pressure. I can feel the fluid moving through the lines of somebody else pumps the clutch, but the slave cylinder doesn't move the clutch lever at all. I know how to bleed the slave cylinder but seems kinda useless because it seems like no air comes out, just a steady stream of fluid.

If you put a cable tranny in a car that's set up for hydro, instead of the cable pulling up on the clutch arm the slave cylinder sits below it and pushes up. So although it was originally a cable tranny its converted to hydro.
