Is Euro-R intake manifold obd2 compliant?
I'm converting a euro-r to obd2 (for emissions purposes). Can i keep the intake manifold. injectors are saturated, and the obd2 aicv plate it needed. The only major difference i know of is the spray pattern. If I don't need to swap it what about the map sensor..I plan on using p5m.
For ODBII compliance you will need to use the EGR setup thats already there. One nice thing about the Euro-R manifold is the removable EGR plate instead of the EGR ports so cleaning them is really easy.
The problem I came across was tunning. It really needs that to run right, and if you are using the EuroR injectors and rail Im not sure if a vafc would be sufficient (someone correct me if Im wrong). I was looking at EManage at first but since my state is non emissions compliant ended up with Hondata. If you keep the usdm injectors I dont think they bolt in properly. I would talk to Roskoracing about that he makes adapters for different injector/rail configurations. I ended up with his EuroR manifold and RDX injectors and his rail. However that rail is in the way of the egr valve. He offers 2 "Block-off" plates for the egr, one for the valve itself and one that covers the ports. He told me that the second could be used with an egr valve to maintain its use.
