advancing your intake and retarding the exhaust will give you more overlap and will not improve performance with forced induction. leave them at 0 and 0 or tune on the dyno starting with intake cam being retarded and then exhaust cam being advanced.

Or leave the aftermarkets at 0-0. Im at 0-0 making about 500hp with itr cams. Don't mess with it unless u are on the dyno.

I would assume the - is exhaust and + is intake. I have itr cams and we retarded the exhaust and left the intake as it was.

I was wondering about this when the machinist grinds the tip during valve job.
I was thinking adjusting the lash made up for it, but yeah..then it will come on the ramp later, I guess. Is this enough to warrant adj. gears? Cuz I'm running stock.
Do they always dress the tips? And how do u measure this? With a dial indicator? Would this be the "installed height" spec? Seemed hard to find a flat surface to measure that as I think back...obviously don't do this very often, but have another build in the works so...just asking
Didn't mean to take ur thread somewhere else, man...just made me wonder.
