When it was in the other car i got it from it ran fine. So I took out the b16 out of my 99 si and swapped them. Now that its done the car turns on fine. It drives good but it doesnt rev over 5k. It doesnt matter if im driving it or if its in neutral. Its a turbo type r block with 94 gsr head im using a jumper harness and p72 ecu msd ignition 450 cc injectors 255 lph fuel pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I am sorry i meant which tuning software are you using?

 

I forgot to mention that my check engine light is on. I tried jumping the service connector to get codes and it just stays on solid no blinks or anything. When the engine was in the other car it didnt have the check engine light on.

The oem ecu is designed only to see normally aspirated engines, with you actually applying pressure into the intake, the sensors are not able to program the correct ignition timing or fuel mapping. I suggest you invest in an stand alone tuning software such has hondata, haltech, neptune, chrome...

 

Check your map sensor, throttle position sensor, intake air temp sensor, to see if they are working correctly

 

Problem fixed ended being that the timing was off still have cel on but it drives good

 

You're revving past 5000 rpms while not being tuned? On a high compression B18cX no less?
