I've decided to run the skunk2 stage1's and i need to order cam gears. Anybody know where i can get the new style skunk2 gears and a good price online? Also will GSR valve train be fine for these cams? I hear that the R valvetrain is fine but i know the GSR isnt as strong. Am i going to need to upgrade right away? What valve train would you recommend....

I also have some JDM ITR rods and pistons that i'd like to put in so sooner or later these will be running together.

I would recomend talking to a shop on the recomandtion for valve train. skunk2 will of course tell you that their **** dont stink.

Maybe get some portflow inner/outer sprins with their ti retainers

I think your vavletrain will be fine for stock redline. I believe I'm am gonna run these cams with their P28 ecu. When I get a Hondata, if the cams make power past the fuel cutoff I will raise the redline and upgrade to their vavle train.

 

you need to talk to frank aka frank@ghettoracer.com a bit about these cams and good pricing.
I think you might want to upgrade your valvetrain, no doubt in my mind that at least ITR or portflow inners should be installed.
