blower not working?

blower not working?
99 civic hx
When i got the car the blower was working and now i tried using the defrost the other day and nothing was working. Checked the fuse it was good. Checked the relay and it seemed ok. And i was testing the harness for power to the control with a test light and hit a orange wire with a white chaser, and the fan kicked on high. Any suggestions?
