Default Problems with my D16Z6....bogging

The car idles perfect, and no check engine.

The only thing I have noticed is wrong is the transmission Input Shaft Bearing because when the clutch is not pressed in it sounds, and when I press the clutch the noise goes away.

I am trying to figure out why the car boggs......it does not have full power.....once it gets to 3K it takes forever to get higher in RPMS....sounds like the engine is working too hard........Its like bogging or something.......any ideas what it could be?

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition and mechanical timing, air filter, fuel filter, oil change.

If you're too stingy to just replace it all like you probably need to, go buy/rent a timing light to check your ignition timing, use your eyes to check the mechanical timing, and then check your spark plugs. They should all be giving off a white spark.

I bought the car and it wouldn't turn on. I did the timing belt change, water pump and tensioner. Also changed the oil and spark plugs.

Car sounds perfect when it is at idle....but it runs like ****! Changed the rotor and cap today. and did not change anything

It could be my ignition timing

Then check it AND your mechanical timing while you're at it. And changing oil and spark plugs does not constitute a tune up.

Injectors, I had a teg that ran like complete *** and I had to take hills in 2nd gear... turned out the injector was bad... with the car idling (carefully) pull each spark plug one at a time to find which cylinder(s) DOESNT change how the car idles... That will point you to the weak cylinder, from there it is either fuel/spark/ or air.

o2 sensor, even without a CEL sometimes the wiring gets corroded or the sensor itself is gummed up...

Cat, if it is clogged you won't have much flow...

Just some ideas to add to what others have mentioned... hope it helps.

Forgot to mention to pull distributor cap, check coil and coil spring... And make sure your plug wires are in the right order!

Have you diagnosed all of the above mentioned possibilities?
