Default 2000 Civic EX Offset?

Would +42 be the correct offset for 215/45/16's to fit without rubbing? Also, would I have any issues with an inch to inch and a half drop?

Without knowing the wheel width, its really impossible to tell. Offset is measured from the center of the wheel, so knowing its width is crucial to give any advice.

Sorry, forgot to include. They are 16x7.

Okay, then yes, those will fit your car fine.

Awesome, thanks. Just one other question. What's the lowest I would be able to go on the offset while having a 1 - 1 1/2 inch drop?

With a drop like that you could Mexi-poke all day long. To still fit in the fender with a 16x7 you can do a +20. 16x8 +35.

I want them to be tucked nicely. I currently have 16x7 with a +38 offset. For the most part, they work, but I do rub when hitting bumps. It will also catch the lip on the fenders if I were to put the suspension on now.

Considering there's only 4mm difference between the +38's and the +42's, and you're having rubbing issues now... you're not going to be able to go lower then the 38's.

You could easily add a tiny bit of negative camber or roll the fenders to eliminate the rubbing issues you currently have.

The same wheels also come with a +45 offset. Any thoughts or experiences with that offset/tire size combo?

+45 would work as well, but you should be fine with +42's.

At least if I go with +45 in the end, I can use spacers if it ends up being too much on the positive end. Thanks for all your help.
