Default Nitrous Express

is anyoen running this kit on their lude? Im very curious about it. How does it compare to the Zex kit? How dangerous do you think it would be to run somewhere around a 30 shot? Thanks in advance for the help.

A 30 shot? Come on, grow some *****. You can run a 50 shot with just NGK BKR7E plugs and a purge kit. I like the NX single fogger wet kits b/c they allow you to tune the engine off of the bottle, and then use different fuel jets to get the best AF ratio while on the bottle.

If i decided to use nitrous I'd only use a small shot. I really don't want to have to rebuild my engine for any reason.

What setup are you running now? Ho wlong have you been running it? Thanks for the help.

A 50 shot is the smallest shot that comes with standard nitrous kits. I'm running an NOS direct port kit and a 75 shot. I've only ran it for one season so far. If I can get my hands on a fuel pump and a VAFC I'll be upping to a 100 shot next season. Nitrous is very safe as long as you are smart.

NX Stage 1 kit offers a 35 shot. If I decided to use NX I'd probably use a 50 shot after using the 35 shot for awhile.

When you tune your car to run bigger shots is it possible to tune the V-AFC to run optimally for occasional nitrous use and all motor?

If you get a wet kit you can just tune the VAFC for NA use. Change out fuel jets to get the right tuning while spraying.

So would you recommend a wet kit over a dry kit?

you only plan on running a 50 shot? perhaps a wet kit is overkill.

We've got guys running low, low 14s with the potential for high 13s on an NX single fogger kit. I keep track of all of the ETs in a sticky post and the NX guys are owning everyone.

Oh yeah. I don't even think I could fit an NX DP kit onto a prelude intake manifold without using SS braided line to relocate the fuel and nitrous rails to behind the manifold.

I have the NX set up for my 94 lude S but I am missing a couple pieces. I plan on installing it hopefully in a month or two when I get a chance. Currently I am missing the shark nozzle, purge kit, and 50 shot jet.
Currently my best times in my lude are 15.825 with minor bolt-ons which is pretty slow. My lude is a freakin pig, it weighs so much.

with proper tuning and not spraying it everytime you leave a light, you could run a 100 shot (wet kit) on a h22 with no problem. just dont be stupid with it and be sure you have the fuel there.
