Type One power header
How does this header compare to the Toda header or even the SMSP and Hi tech headers.

This is what AJ-R have to say:
The T1R 4-2-1 Power Header is developed for heavily tuned engines with big cams and high compression. The Power Headers offer more peak power gains and features a unique design of 48mm primaries (4) , 60mm secondaries (2) and a 65mm collector.

Wow, that's a new design. It looks different from the one used during the "great header test".

When i talked to Alan from AJ, he said that unless you have a fairly well worked motor (pistons, cams, yadda yadda) the difference would be negligable in comparison to the original type-one header.
Well according to http://www.todaracing.com their header is 45mm, 50mm, and 60mm piping. The AJ one is bigger all around with 48mm, 60mm, and 65mm. I would like to see some dyno results and what is the expected price for the header when it is released?
looks more like the spoon header
I'll scan pics when I get a chance...unless Kengs beats me to it with a picture

Looks strikingly similar to HKS' old header for the B-series engines.

mike, what about this thing from T1R
fron aj-racing site:
"The T1R race convertors are developed to improve performance by decreasing exhaust restriction. With the T1R race convertor installed, a 3-5 hp gains will be expected. Made using SUS304 aircraft stainless steel and TIG welding. "
is it a resonated straight pipe or a hi flow cat?

As of right now the T1R Power Header is only a prototype, they are finalizing the designs and specs as I type this. Should be available soon though.
The New T1R Exhaust will be the same as the previous Except that it will not use stock flanges.
The Upside to this - It will be 63mm throughout, No bottlenecks.
The Downside to this - It will not be interchangeable with the Stock Exhaust system. You would have to modify either the New T1R system or the OEM Exhaust if you wanted to use them together.

Well, definately different from the HKS.
