Default Can a guy get a break..Clutch vibration

Ok so i just put the sohc non v zc in with the d15 tranny from the old motor. put the new clutch and throw out bearing in. It has been driving smooth for the past two or three days. Went out for a little cruise and apon taking off from a stop light there was a vibration when letting the clutch pedal out. seems to only do it in first and second gear. I know the Tranny fluid is a smidge low, like up to your first pinky knukle when u stick it in the fill hole.I have not dropped the clutch or anything. Any thoughts on what this might be?? I also just took it for a spin around the block and if i do high rpm's when letting it out, it wont do it so much. Hopefully i dont have to drop the tranny again! FML. Thanks in advance for any info!

You need more fluid lol Get a metal flexible funnel works great! It needs to be up to the threads spilling out.

Your transmission needs fluid silly, and it needs to be full

Your silly for driving it knowing its low and your having transmission problems...

And by silly I mean stupid

you didn't break in your brand new clutch? come on.....

btw, the guy up there telling you to add more fluid to your trans. no your clutch. if you don't feel like its necessary to add fluid, why mention about it being low in the first place?

if it was a possibily of the vibration, thats why i mentioned it, now i know its not, its full now. I'm on the 3rd day of driving with the new clutch, is that vibration part of the break in or does that mean its toast? ive been babyin it

filling the fluid AFTER something breaks... isnt really fixing the problem...

And definitely does it rule low fluid out as being the culprit just because the symptom didnt magically go away after you filled it up

Its something with the clutch. Is the vibration a sign of it being toast, or if i got greasy finger prints on the disc, or should it go away after the break in proccess

doesn't sound like you babied it to me. but if it was vibrating bad, id pull the trans and make sure the clutch and all its bolts holding it is tighten and not loose.

also, did you torque it to specs? crisscross patterns?

i've been through about 5 clutches now, all of them vibrate real bad if i don't clutch it properly leaving from a stop. it'll be better as time goes by but it'll always be there buddy. no way around it

It sounds like you intalled it wrong I recently swapped my clutch and trans on my ef I dropped in a stage 1 exedy clutch with the oem flywheel(resurfaced) ……idk if you aligned the clutch right or dropped the disk or clutch plate but your vibration is clutch chatter only happends when unproperly installed, your dropped the clutch disc or pressure plate
