My EK build show and go!
So this is my first real build, i have owned a DA integra that was my first honda. I have been building f-body's a 89 trans am, and a 98 camaro. But i have always wanted to build a honda. So in August i picked up a 98 civic hatch.
This is what i started with a pretty clean shell

The plan for it is a car i can take to the car show cruise around and also run some respectable number's at the track. im shooting for an 11s timeslip.
Engine/turbo setup
B18c1 benson sleeves 83mm bore
cp pistons
eagle rods
benson crank
b16 head ported by JG 1mm oversized valves
JG intake
precision 6262 turbo
tial WG, BOV
SO the motor is getting assembled by Laskey Racing
i prepped the engine bay for the new motor

I decided i wanted the engine and engine bay to really pop when you opened the hood so we sprayed it a new civic si blue

i started putting the engine bay back together with some parts i have been collecting.

I finally got the motor back in november!

Got the head and the valve cover on!

Finally got the motor in the car

So i decided to do the interior also in the middle on december
CTR Carpet
CTR Door Panels
Sparco seats
Sparco harness bar
Sparco harnesses
this is what i ended up with

Its now january i got everything else i need to finish the engine bay and get the car running.
Shot of the finished engine bay

Beginning of febuary i got the car tuned so i could drive it. After driving it a few weeks i decided i wanted to go a diffrent route on the wheels. So i got rid of the black slip streams and picked up some 15x7.5 Drag Dr-27 with a +10mm offset. Heres what the car currently looks like

So i decided i need to do something with the trunk this is the end result

Hopfullying looking to get some track times on the car here pretty soon
let me know what you guys think.
im still wanting a carbon hood and hatch, im trying to decide on either a ctr lip or a bys front bumper.

IMHO i think you went a little overboard with the "red" engine bay colored accesories... it's distracting.
People should be looking at your turbo & manifold first, but insteat their eyes will be drawn to other things... (just my opinion)
also not a fan of the town hooks..

You started out so well and that interior is killer except for that gay flower pattern on the shifter bezel/console, Then you put the gold wheels on a silver and black car, get rid of those dude, if you like the DR27's, just get the silver faced ones, it would have looked soooooooo much better and take the wheels in a little get a 16x7.5 w/ a +32/+35 offset w/ a 205/45/16 tire and that car will look 100 times better and handle and drive better!!!! Just my opinion, your car, you can butcher it if you want, but trust me on this one and I'm sure most will agree w/ me, that gold is just HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
^lol this guy. They're stickers not a flower pattern, the gold wheels look fine, and your 40 post count isn't helping your case.
