Default 2000 Civic Si tweeter doesn't work - replace with OEM or aftermarket?

yeah in my 2000 civic si my driver side tweeter doesnt work. should i replace it with stock or could after maker ones fit in their. and if so how do u wire them up. thanks

The tweeter hooks up parallel to the door speaker. basically half down there is a connector for it.

You 2 options replace with stock take off door panel and unclip stock one.

or aftermarket one typically they have a cross over, might as well replace the door speaker as well hook both off the cross over and done, use the speaker wires in the lower part of the door by the 6.5 woofer you can get a harness to plug in to it and will give you a positive and negative wire. As for the tweeter get one .75 inches to fit the best, you might have to open the tweeter pod hole a but and just glue it in.

You could replace it with a stock one, they sound fine. I never had them until recently when I got another EX and the ones in that car work.
