Just wondering if any one is doing this? I am not sure if stock pump is cool for these bigger injectors (450) Just let me know what you guys are running. Allso i would think that the amount of boost would allso have a bit to do with it. Any info would be great guys, thanks again

I PMed Zip a while back about whether or not the stock fuel pump can be used with the SMC and he told me yes. The SMC and 450 injectors is basically all you need for the fuel system.

 

Cool. i just dont want to go lean. At what point will i need to upgrade the fuel pump?

im sure you can, fuel pressures arent much more than stock. just maek sure its an integra pump, and not like a civic dx one.

 

You probably wont have any problems unless you're running like 250hp or more. Fuel pump upgrades become necessary even at low horsepower levels when you use high fuel pressures. The afc thang avoids all that.

 

I ran the hack on a stock fuel pump / stock FPR (GSR) and up to 8-9 psi it was able to run as rich as 9.8:1 AF ratio so there's definitely plenty of headroom in the stock pump with 450 injectors.
