Anybody use SEAFOAM for their turbo cars to clean carbon deposits??
i've heard lots of good things on this product. this stuff would be safe for our turbo cars right? anybody got a review to post up?? thanks!
the best thing you can do for carbon is Chevy top cylinder cleaner. It is available at any chevy dealer. We used it all the time on the old legends because they were notorius for getting all carboned up. Its also cheap and easy. Jsut dont do it in your garage because your car will smoke like crazy after you start it back up.
yup GM top end cleaner is the deal, i've seen 2.2L chevys get so gunked up, the carbon would hit the valves when they opened. just pull the spark plugs out and pour the cylinder full and let it sit over night. amazing stuff. i use seafoam more as an oil additive to quiten lifters and bottom ends, reseat rings, etc..

Just did it yesterday before my oil change. Seafoam rocks. I was told to only put it in your oil before an oil change and let it idle for 5 mins because it will start to thin the oil really bad.
I also went ahead and let the brake booster line suck it up into the manifold... boy did the car smoke. I use it a few times a year.

full slicks and roll cages...... i think they must be talkin about my Teg
you need to come down for real though. it's a lot of fun, and it's great when "new" people come too, b/c it really messes with some of the local ricers.
