Default Poorman's Type R Question

What head gasket do I need for the b16 on gsr block? Do I need a timing belt from a b16 or can I use my gsr one, and water pump? What all do I need? Also can I use an ls intake manifold and what intake manifold gasket do I use if I do use that?

A lot of your questions would be easily answered with a touch of reading, these have all been covered many times........i will help today though

Headgasket- same gasket for either PR3 or P72 head

Timing belt- need the longer belt found on gsr/type R. The block is taller than a b16, needs a longer belt, makes sense huh?

intake manifold- use any manifold that fits a b16/type r head, there are many choices. You can't use an ls manifold on a vtec head

And I guess that means I need to hunt down an intake manifold since the ls won't work, and the gsr's has the unique bolt pattern.

Its 94 GSR block with an b16a4 head and I have the complete GSR so I guess I can just swap cams and torque it down? What torque specs do I follow?

If you want it to perform anywhere near a type R or call it a poor mans type R, you would need a---------type R intake manifold, or a skunk2 manifold which is similar but has more meat for match porting to larger than R TB's
