Lowering my 02 type s
Hey guys, I'm new to this so I would appreciate any help. I have a completely stock 02 type S that I'm trying to lower. Just for looking clean and being my dd. I would also like it to ride pretty smooth. (not all bumpy) I was thinking full Coilovers but not sure which kind. Which is the best set up to do. I also want to lower it pretty low in the front and a lil less in the back. Is this a bad idea?
I was planning on getting the street basic tein Coilovers kit. But after reading these forms, I'm not sure if that's the way to go. I just basically wanna be pretty low, But don't wanna just buy lowering springs cause I heard it will blow my struts fast. Any suggestion? Which full Coilovers kit is the best one I should buy.

You want to be dumped, you have to sacrifice the ride quality.
if this is your daily driver, trust me when i say riding around low gets real old real fast. sure it may look good, but you'll be kicking yourself everytime you scrape your exhaust or hit a pothole and nearly shake your teeth out. not to mention the accelerated wear it causes on balljoints, tie rods, and other components.

So what you saying I shouldn't lower it then?
Raceland coilovers. They are not superb, as in the spring rates aren't the best for road racing, but that shouldn't matter to you. But they are adjustable so you can dump the **** outta it, and actually do have a similar feel to stock shocks (like when you hit a pothole).
I had these on a car I bought, and surprisingly they were very comfortable for daily driving, but I didn't really need them since I wanted springs/shocks because I don't care to be dumped.
