I just replaced my clutch but this time i put on a LSD transmission the problem is that its hard to put into first gear. tho if i pump the clutch a few times i can get it into gear but it shifts into any gear fine but at times its a little hard to take out of the gears... if i shut the car off i can put the car in any gears fine, no grinds when shifting tho any thoughts?

 

slave cylinder, fork is stuck, something internal. That's happened before. Its something in the countershaft that isn't right.

 

new cluch, adujst your master cylinder to pedal rod (under dash)

Forgot to add its a new throw out bearing, used fork and a act pressure plate its kinda old about 5-7 years the last clutch on it poped out while I was driving it.. you guys think it can be the pressure plate

 

typically going into gear when moving but not while stopped means the clutch isn't disengaging all the way. i'll also add that replacing the clutch shouldn't require any pedal adjustment as the hydraulic operating system is self adjusting and the adjustments on the pedal should only affect the master cylinder's ability to return to an at-rest position after the pedal's proper range of movement which can be found in the service manual.

if you have to pump the clutch a few times before a good disengage, that usually means something in the hydraulic system is leaking or the system isn't properly bled. although, i've had bad disks and funked pressure plates that resulted in similar symptoms to what you are describing.

additionally, i've never re-used a used performance clutch. altogether it just doesn't sound like a good idea and a great oppurtunity to encounter problems. and my experience with act is they are ridiculous and everyone using them has a stage 1000 clutch capable of clamping forces that can trigger nuclear fusion which is entirely unnecessary bolted to 99% of setups out there. these clutches also tend to lead to all sorts of long term problems.

 

So guys I finally got back to opening the trans checking everything out I found the spring behind the fork was loose so i switch the pin with a d series one, and notice I had 9 pressure plate boats on took 3 off put the trans back together, worked liked a charm then this morning I went to drive it, it was acting like I explain above

Check the clutch system for leaks, bleed it, adjust pedal. Report back.
