How to put a GSR cluster in a civic??

I tried a search and all I could find was the wiring instructions.

I'm trying to put a 95 GSR gauge cluster in my 93 Civic hatchback. Does anyone
know how to do it? I saw some pics a while back, they used the gsr gauges with
the civic clear cover I think. Some please help as I'm now gauge less.

My question is does that same wiring apply to the 92-95, because the instructions on that site say for 96-00. I did a seach under "jdm cluster" and only found 10 threads with this one being the most on target for the install in a civic.

follow this diagram that you could have found if you did a search and it will work correctly.. i have had it done since Feb and no problems at all...

teg's blue left side plug (13 pins)

1. blu tach signal
2. grn/org check engine indicator
3. yel/red oil pressure switch
4. NOT USED NOT USED
5. wht/blu charge indicator
6. NOT USED NOT USED
7. yel/grn coolant temp
8. blk ground
9. red/blu cruise (if you have cruise)
10. yel hot
11. NOT USED NOT USED
12. pink maintenance (not used)
13. NOT USED NOT USED

1. grn/red e.brake signal

Started on my cluster today...GSR cluster with a civic cover. I cut thm both in half an plastic weld them together. A little bondo and it should all look factory.

Here's a pic of the car its going in.

you are on the right track....

when your fingers are sore, and you dont want to sand any more, you'll realize you have a few more hours of sanding.

that reminds me, I have 1 more to complete. Just needs finishing touches, guess I need to get out and finish it now that my motor swap is done.

Acura_typer.... Thats the picture I was looking for. You sell them right? I tried to do a search but could not find the link, all I could find was some guy saying he helped 10 people? I guess he won't help 11. I will post pics when I'm done.

Emerica, I'm not much with a camera or a computer. The color is 99 Jeep Platinum

yeah, I do them for people. I really don't make much on them, and I think if you make it turn out as good as the ones I do, you'll wish ya bought it instead.

hondpower, hey can you give me directions on how to do this? i just bought a new integra cluster that has the correct redline since i have an ls swap. i got a pretty good deal on the cluster and really want to know how to do this. i helped my brother do it in his, only the wiring which was easy, we couldn't get the cluster to fit in right though... what are you cutting? what are you gluing? what's your gameplan? those pics are really helpful..any info would be appreciated. thanks

So what do you do with the extra wires? It seems like there would be extra....am I wrong. ANd if it as simple as matching color to color, then why is there a diagram. By the looks of the diagram, different colors do different things for the two clusters....

I am counting 22 for the civic plug, and 23 for the Integra plug

it just takes time, i wired mine swap up in a hour, for the most part its just coloring matching.

Does anyone know what year GSR clusters will work in the EG h/b?
Are the clusters the exact same from 94-01? I need to go ahead and buy one for my 93 cx, so I would just like to know before buying.
