i am removing the door panels from my 1994 civic. so far i have everything disassembled but the freaking thing you roll the windows down with. how do i get this out? i know there is a clip, but there is like no room to move around.
i had trouble with the same thing on my 97 hatch. i ended up breaking the handle off, which didn't matter since im putting on ex panels, but after i broke it off i saw there was a C clamp holding the handle to the metal stick thing. have a friend lift the handle with a flat screwdriver (don't do it too much or you'll break it like me) and shine a light, and get another flat screwdriver and pop the clamp out.
simply done really, take some really small tweezerz, and get a flashlight, look for the top of the thin little clip, it raps around the handle rod. its like a circle, but at the bottom it indents, then goes out like this

grab the top of it, the circle part, and pull

just use a flathead screwdriver, push the panel in about 1/2 inch, look for the clip,it will have two ends sticking out, push on one of the ends with the screwdriver and it will pop off,or just go buy the tool for it,its like $7 at any autoparts store.
