Default Wheel Opinions

Sup guys. I need new tires on my wheels and I'm debating whether to buy new tires or get some used wheels with good tires.
Its on some 16" rota rb right now

Its like a love/hate thing and cant decide. I'm thinking of getting some blades, fat fives, si rims or some slips or something. Any opinions welcome.

Every one and there mother has slips. try something diff. Although i always loved the look of some gs-r twisties polished and wrapped in some 50 series or even 45 series. But whats wrong with the rb's i like them and not allot of people put rb's on and don't flush them. Your setup is nice. I would drop it a little more but that's my opinion. Its your car. Do what you like and make it yours.

I like those wheels a lot. What is the width and offset of those? Do you have any pics looking more down the side to tell how much clearance you have between the tire and fender?

If you're looking just for an opinion... I'd say just keep the rb's and buy new tires. but if you really want something different then go for it. because it's you who has to look at it every day. you can't go wrong with blades or slips really.

Perfect, thanks. What is the width and offset of those? I think I found my next wheels. If you where close I would trade you my fat fives and some cash.

I have been looking and all I can find is 16x7 +40. Are these what you have?

Look on craigslist for deals around your area on wheels, I always find dirt cheap wheels with tires.. if you can't just get new tires.

Yea I'v been looking around for awhile cant find anything good in my area. Usually people overprice wheels too. 450 for blades or fat fives imo is too much.

It might on the back. I am not familiar with rotas. What size are your tires and do you have 1.5" lip?

The tires are all different, one of the reasons i want new tires. I got 205/50/16 on the left front, 195/50/16 on the right front, and 205/45/16 in the back. And yea its about 1.5in lip.
