Default Just got my new wheels!

They are 16" Rota Rims Gunmetal with Polished Lip and Kumho Ecsta tires.

Here are some pictures.

And the only thing I'm curious about is I noticed this after I was driving for awhile. I'm not sure if it was something I did. If it is, is it something to worry about it?

Other than that I really like it. (What PSI should be in these tires?)

You wheel is bent, and it's possible that it will get worse over time. Fortunately there are some shops that can fix aluminum wheels.

Your tires should have a maximum pressure rating on them somewhere.

Get worse? How could i get worse - like what's the cause?
I like them though.

The cause is hitting a large pothole, or some form of road debris. It can get worse because that section of the wheel is now weaker than the rest of it and will more easily sustain additional damage from less severe causes. Fortunately a replacement should be inexpensive (possibly less than getting it fixed).

well yeah man.. mechanical before appearance.

its compromising the integrity of your wheel, just get it taken care of, no big deal.

and yeah, they are nice wheels man.. I would love those over my stock plastic hubs!

Thanks, and by getting it taken care of can I just take it in to a tire place and have them fix it quickly? Also how long can I drive on it like this. I'm pretty busy and do a lot of driving.

the less you drive the safer you are. if they need that rim for more than a day just throw one of the old wheels on that bitch until you get the new one back. as for psi (if you didnt find the correct pressure on the side of the tire) im thinkin about 40 psi give or take a psi. sick rims by the way

Thanks! :D
Oh damn, 40? Okay because I'm running 35. My old wheels were at 26.

I also don't have my old wheels. These are the only ones I have now. (I also asked on another civic forum and they said don't worry about it, one guy is riding with a dent too)

Tight rims. Best bet is to run 40 if the tire calls for a 44 max and 45 if the tire calls for a 51 max...

Thanks for advice on the pressure too. I might make a run to tires plus tomorrow to get them balanced.

austinkli has kuhmo ecstas on his 15' rims, and his take 32 psi.

That looks pretty bad. I would worry about it, as previously posted, it's just going to get worse and worse.

I took it into a tire place, the shaking was just my breaks. So I got new routers and break pads and my breaking is much better.

There is a dent on the front left and both rears for the wheels. No air is coming out. They said it wasn't a big issue just it won't be as smooth.

2000 miles and they are dented up like that? jeez.... people must not know how to drive... i wouldnt want to drive on a rim like that. i would be worried that it will crack and have the tire go out.

I didn't feel like reading through the thread, i saw the pic of the banged up rim. get a piece of wood or some kind of brace as not to dent the rim and a mini sledge hammer. use 32 psi for the khumo ecstas.
