straight anti freeze in radiator
I noticed today that my car looks like its straight antifreeze in the radiator. It runs really cold too not even a quarter way up the temp guage. Could this cause problems? Maby to IACV or FITV? Or anything else? Ive been having power loss issues but idk if its related thats why i opened a new topic
get one of these

...and test your coolant. make adjustments to coolant as needed (drain some and add water until reading is correct).
running too cool is likely a stuck thermostat. recently replaced the one in my civic because it was slow to warm up and never got to full op. temp. the gasket had deteriorated, fell appart and stuck in the thermostat.

I have one where do i want the reading to read? Cause im pretty sure its straight antifreeze in it now. Its dark green and thick like syrup. I think thats why it runs cold. Im jusy worried about it messing with my fitv or iacv. Cause im having alot of power problems maby that could be a cause. Idk if it hurts anything or affects pefformace of other systems
Straight anti freeze does not cool better than properly mixed coolant. Water cools better than antifreeze but it has a higher freezing temperature, a lower boiling temperature, and no corrosion inhibitors. Some coolant bottles have a mixture chart on the side that shows what percentage of water and antifreeze mixed together creates a mixture with X boiling temp and X freezing temp. Most people just use a 50/50 mix though.
If it never reaches operating temp or takes forever I would suspect a stuck thermostat. if the coolant looks like syrup I would imagine there's something else added to it like radiator stop leak. Straight antifreeze still has a viscosity close to that of water.

100% antifreeze cool less than 50% mix. Running it long term could do damage to the coolant system. Your thermostat might be bad. The sensor is what tells the temp to your gauge cluster. If the stat stuck close, the sensor can't feel the heat that well.
