Default turbo/internals help

I really wanna turbo my 00 prelude. Just wanna know what exact internals I should replace. Motor has 150k on it. I was reading earlier you can't put forged pistons in the aluminum block unless its the mahle. Or w.e. what June of pistons/connector rods should I get. Also not trying for stupid boost just want 10-12psi. But is that possible on a stock aluminum block?

Mahle Gold pistons are what you want. They're coated to work with the FRM sleeves. I haven't found much information on how long they will last, however Mahle makes some OEM pistons including those for the S2000. Eagle rods are usually strong enough for most people.

PSI of boost is irrelevant because you can make the same power on low boost with a big turbo as with high boost in a little turbo. Most motors can handle a certain amount of horsepower. I'm fairly new to the prelude thing, I've had Civics, so I can't tell you what a Prelude engine can take.

After what I've read, most people suggest replacing the pistons because the ring lands will break. I figure if I'm spending the money for mahle gold pistons, rods, and may as well rebuild the head, I may as well sleeve the block and just be done with it and then I can run normal Mahle pistons I can get for cheaper and I know the block is stronger then.

I am currently building the bottom end. I had Darton Sleeves installed along with CP pistons and Eagle Rods. Still in the process and should be completed soon.

If your going to sleeve the block anyways I would probably just run some cp pistons or something like that...

I have a 93 prelude with a 95 h22 motor all stock. I have a garett gt 30 running 9 psi when I upped the boost to 12 psi my head lifted off of the block. At that time I thought I was running a safe tune and I only pit down 273 whp. how long your motor lasts is mostly based on how good your tune is. Now I have arp head studs but still stock motor.
