the wire im asking about is thick. kinda like 1 you would use as a power wire to a amp and speaker box. Its not oem for sure......its held on top of alternator by a lil 10 or 12mm nut
The wire next to it that screws in the exact same way goes to the battery.
Its the wire that recharges the battery.
I believe it is split into 2 like this to remove the fuse box seperately along with the engine harness and the positive terminal if 1 of the 3 go bad for whatever reason.

ummmmm well the end im inquiring about has a pretty big opening..... looks like this
o-- lol if you can imagine that! lol sorry the "o" is the opening and the "--" would be the wire. like 12gauge wire....

But everything Ive Informed you on Is correct. Ive completely stripped thesse engine harnesses to do wire tucks so My information is correct as far as what you asked about the alternator wire

Sounds like someone did a batt. relocation at some point, my guess it that ring terminal that is on the end of the alt. charge lead will fit the stud on the starter motor solenoid.
As mentioned the correct place is the engine bay fuse box, but it would also work going to the starter motor solenoid or the batt. pos.(+) post.
I would just install the proper size ring trerminal and connect it to the fuse box. 94
