Im getting a b18c block which has bad rings apparently, anyways i was planning on doing a .025 over bore and using new pistons from honda. Im not sure wether or not to get usdm type r pistons, or b16 pistons. Im wanting a reliable motor i can tune on 93 and get like 180-190 whp. i have itr cams supertech valvtrain, and have .006 off the head. i want a compresssion ratio of like 10.8.1 i heard ud get with usdm type r pistons. is that true. in the far future id like to boost it so i need a compression ration that will allow me to do so while still being high enough to have some umph until then and while out of boost when boosted
