thermostat question
I'm wondering the same ****. I just replaced my FAL SLIM FANS with some OEM fans and i had to pull the radiator out and drain it to get the fans out. Now my car overheats in traffic. Could it be the thermostat that needs to be changed?
There are no set interval changes in regards to thermostats. It is like the alternator or your starter. You change it when it develops symptoms. However, since the thermostat and gasket are very cheap, and changing them can be quite messy, it is normally recommended to change it in every coolant flush/replacement.
Hope that answers your question.
