I had an Ek hatch with b16. Was bought already built. I sold the ek and got a 99 ej6 4 door civic and am in the middle of a luxury civic build. I have a H22 euro r and am needing some help. I have the engine and trans. In the middle of ordering the mounts, axles, and ecu. I was stumped when I ran into what shift linkage to use. Any help?
(What shift linkage am I to use for a h22 swap into civic? Note: the front end is the exact same as an ek hatch)

 

You need shift cables not linkages.

 

h22a uses shift cables, if i remember right you can use the 92+ prelude cables/shifter, or 90-93 accord cables/shifter.

 

you need to run cables, unless you are going H2b?

 

just go h2b so much better, in the process of building one myself.

 

if you just do h2b now...you will be sooooo happy you did. for real!

 

Thanks for the help guys. I have the Euro R already and loved it in my other car. Just have to figure out how this civic swap is going to work. Alright so shift cables!
I know that the h2b has a way better gear ratio and is fun but I just want to keep this Euro R together. The engine is worth more to me together. Plus the Euro R is just sexy to me.
