I have a 92 civic hatch with a type r in it. i let a buddy drive it saturday to go sell my 94 hatch, and when i got in my car, i got on the road and punched it in 1st. once it got to around 7300rpms it bounced to 3ish k and died. had all ligts but no motor power. tried starting it, nothing. got it towed home, let it sit for a couple days, added more coolant. it started up yesterday and ran fine, after it warmed up, it died on me again. Cant figure out what the problem is. i do have he walboro 255 fuel pump. jg regulator, edelbrock victor x intake manni, a 68mm throttle body, and a weapon r intake. anything will help just have to get i done by tomorrow so hurry fast please and thank you. cam

 

1st check your cel codes
sounds like it could be going into limp mode

 

Has it overheated at all? Does it regularly lose coolant? +1 on checking the codes

 

nothing but map and tps came up on the codes. and no it hasnt overheated, never goes passed the C. someone said they dont think im getting spark, anything else you guys could think of on to why it would just cut out like that? and now its not starting at all
