Help need advice
I have a 2009 Honda Civic Si sedan. I love my car but the bad news is about a month ago I was headed out with some friends and hit a water poodle. I have a cold air intake which you probably already firgured that runs by the front driver tire. As soon as i hit the poodle the car cut off. My front drivers side fog like wasnt equip at the time due to my brother running my car into a ditch during the winter. I guess what i need to know is what can i do? Is the motor screwed? and if so where can i get another motor?
Did you gun the gas when you hit the poodle? (sorry, couldn't resist!)
Theoretically, the engine should have starved and stalled out from lack of air before the water even got into the intake manifold.
