Default Drag manifold, does it look good.

I have a bigger turbo and I'm looking for a log mani for my gsr. I found one for a rediclously good price. What do you guys think. It's stamped drag.

Super old school from 1999. You can do a LOT better than that. But a LOT worse if you go to the bullshit on ebay.

Honestly, NO find something else.

Thank on another note, for a better spool time should I run smaller piping and a
Log. I'm using a turbonetics 60-1

Your manifold isn't going to be the change in "spool up" in this case, just your turbo that is very large. A turbonetic 60-1 is going to be large regardless.

Lol yeaa but I'm going to do any thing that is said to have quicker spool. My goal is 270-290 hp. Do you think I will enjoy my street warrior with the 60-1?

using this shitty manifold isn't going to help. If you want 290whp on a good torquey kind of setup, ditch the large turbo for something much smaller.

I've already forgotten about the manifold in this post. Right now I'm kinda stuck with this turbo for the moment. That can all change come summer. Right now I'm am just piecing together my kit.

this manifold would work alot better then that drag pos. Iv used over 10 of these without one problem. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-2001-Ac...item3373704c02

That Emusa one is actually pretty nice, if I don't go through with this other one I might buy it.

Yeah that old Drag mani is crappy. really bad waste gate placement on that on. Only vents exhaust from 1 runner. I will be using a cast mani but not a Drag and I did a lot of port work to it so it will flow better. The log mani is chose is a much better one than the Drag.
Here is the mani I will be using

and the port out work

Also for your goals a Garrett 50 trim .63 AR would be a much better choice of turbo. It will spool up faster and be more driveable on the street.

Then get a 57 trim or a straight 60 trim with .63 AR but that is even a bit large. For a B series you want to stay with a .63 AR exhaust housing anything smaller and the turbo can keep up.
