Ek hatch wont start
i got an 98 ek hatch with a mini me a few months ago and had to replace the engine harness with the the stock one that was in it because the previous owner failed miserably on a wire tuck. After i did that it started right up and ran fine. I took it down the road a quarter mile and the axle popped out. Once i took it back to the shop i unplugged it for the weekend. And once i tried starting it again it ran for two seconds and wont start back.
It has great compression
plenty of fuel pressure
and is getting spark
Timing is spot on
changed out dizzy
I heard something about injector drivers going out so i went to the junkyard and picked up some and still nothing plus a diff p2e ecu.
Then i tried my p28 with a jumper and it almost but still nothing (btw the p28 was tuned for f20b) but i thought of trying to go obd1
Im almost out of ideas the noid light is bright when i hook it up
and on all the times i try to crank i smell fuel and the spark plugs are wet even though im getting fire
Would the obd2 injectors need some kind of resistor box
