Default casting mark or crack?

Broke an oil squirter in my k20z3 block, removed the pan and installed GE block offs but also noticed this. All 4 are very similar, if not the same.

really? I thought the same, my mechanic at work thinks its cracks, but im like how could they ALL be like that almost identical in the way the crack spread. So I should be good to reassemble and go?

Also, are people using loctite with the GE squirter block offs?
