1996 Acura TL 2.5 - Ignition Problem

1996 Acura TL 2.5 - Ignition Problem - Please Help a girl out need guidance
Please oh please someone help a girl out.
When trying to start the engine will kick over, but immediately kills fuel pump and power. The only way it will run is to place it in Reverse, crank and hold to start and keep it in that position until you get where you are going. (Have rigged ignition with toggle button that once pressed when cranking car over it starts and stays running as long as toggle button is engaged.) Still don't know if this is ignition switch, harness or main relay. Can someone please tell me which it is????
