i would have to say 1"

i've wraped 3 or 4 downpipes with 2" getting it around those bends isnt hard but i wouldnt want to attemp anything with a tighter bend radius.... i plan on 1" if my ramhorn

and the trick to a nice tight wrap is to soak it in warm water first...it will slightly loosen up the fibers while wet and it will tighten back up as it drys

1 inch wrap would work best. Good luck trying to wrap it.

While this topic is up , what is the best way to clamp the wrap @ manifold...is there better way then using ugly *** hose clamps? maybe some sort of wire ties that doesnt look as bad.

Also soaking in warm water prior to adding the wrap seems like good logic

This is the way forward, secure it with lock wire.

Wear gloves and make sure your skin doesn't make any contact with the wrap. That fiberglass stuff is no joke and will irritate the **** out of your skin. Just a heads up! I had to learn this the hard way!

I EFFING HATE LOCKWIRE (did it in all caps that way you know how serious i am about not liking lockwire)

the good thing about it is you could probably wrap over top of it and never see it!
