Default Thermal Wrap questions

I plan on wrapping my manifold and DP.. good idea? hope so.. what i want to know is how you guys are doing it. Do you just wrap it with the dry wrap? How do you get the end of the wrap to stick? It always looks like theres some kinda glue or paste all over it from looking at pics.

You wet the wrap with water to make it more pliable. After it drys you can apply a liquid coating that helps seal it and increases its life. You can use ss wire or clamps to hold it on.

you might wanna search about this. I was gonna do this but then I found alot of posts saying that the wrap keeps the heat from exiting and humidity trapped in the wrap will kill the manifold

im sure the wrap is not even necessary. i mean damn 90% of HT doesnt use it, and still make the power. Its either that, or wrap everything else around it in thermal reflective wrap.

For now i used the cloth material to wrap my AC lines. Everyone said to use Reflectlive wrap, but what i did should work still right?? check it out.
