Here's the deal, i let my buddy install a throttle body spacer in my ol' ladys 4 door, he was impaired and installed it upside down and when i started it up it idled realllllllly high. so i uninstalled everything he did and installed a new tb gasket and now it has erratic idle. took off fast idle valve and iacv cleaned them both really well but to no avail i still have a really annoying idle and a really pissed of fiance, please any ideas would be greatly appreciated, also no trouble codes or check engine light.

 

its the world calling you an idiot for trying to install one of those on a fuel injected vehicle in the first place.

did he tighten or loosen the throttle cable? that may need some re-adjustment if it was altered. not sure what else to tell ya

 

Do you still have the spacer on? I never really heard of a good spacer for Honda's, if you have still on I would take it off.

Check all the connects again esp at the iacv, and you didn't cross the coolant lines.

Also, reset the ECU after you check everything.
