So I'm putting together a rebuilt d16y7 and I originally planned on ordering arp head studs but ended up with brand new FREE stock honda head bolts. I dont plan on going much over 200 hp with the stock bottom end so will I have to worry about head lift with the stock bolts? I plan on re torquing them after around 3000 miles also just in case.

Has anybody here had issues with head lift with the stock oem headbolts??? And at what hp did you start experiencing the problem?

 

They would hold fine no worries a this power goal, after 350hp you could worry
