What if it was on a D series, would that make a difference? Not to thread jack here. But precision told me to use a -4 with no restrictor on my sc34. Then I read about precision turbo's having blown out seals after a year, and the guys who chose to go against precision's advice and install a .065 restrictor, have no seal problems???

Probably same with a d series. If your oil pressure goes over 65 psi at any time then use a restrictor

That's why we don't listen to Precision's advice. They don't look at individual engine platforms. They look at import or domestic. that's it.

If oil pressure is over 85psi of pressure, use the .065" restrictor for the -3AN.
