i got an ef hatch, i pulled out the d15b2 and just replaced the gaskets. i put it back in. i never touch the trans at all, i got it to start, revs fine. its a 5 speed. but when i put it in gear, it doesnt drive, forward or back wards. the shift linkage is on, the clutch is on. but its weird, i can shift the gears without pressing in the clutch. idk whats going on, does anyone have any ideas?

 

Check throw out bearing I am sure thts the problem.

 

Had same issue and the throw out bearing had a broken tab

got a question and didn't want to make a new thread. i'm trying to figure out how the clutch release bearing spring, goes back on. i can physicality get it on but there seems to be a lot of free play in the shift fork. if someone could take a pic to show where the spring sits it would be greatly helpful. thanks.
