Default 99 Couple CB Install

Hey there Honda-tech,

I finally got all my CB equipment together and I'm currently running it out of my passenger seat. I'd like to put it in the forward center console. My problem is that I need a way to mount the bracket to the top of the forward center. Below the clock/radio/tape compartment honda gives you stock.

I'd like this to be a fairly permanent mod. What are the best ways to go about mounting the bracket so it wont fall out?

Also - I'm trying to avoid having to power screw it in, looks messy after its out (if it comes out).

Any other suggestions as to how to mount? Stickypads? Just screw it on?

Thank you in advanced,
Andrew

Wow man what cb did you get? I have a small midland unit from a coworker and a magnet mount but may switch to a trunk clip mount. I may fab my own. They are simple to make with some metal fab knowledge.. as far as cb mounting, I have a single din radio, removed that useless tapered pocket below it and put the cb in dash! And ya I have a 15watt pa speaker also

Apologies, I lost track of my email and passwords for this sight but after a little hard work they were both found.

I now have a Superstar 121 upers+ lowers with a wilson 5k on the trunk. We use it for both short and long range communication between cars (good thing to have if you commute where theres a lot of traffic, you can get right around it), and to shoot skip of course, whats better than sitting there and talking to someone in another state, or another country for that matter.
