Ok. Well I've been wanting to make a build thread for my car. I think the reason I havent is because I dont want it to get jacked. But whats it worth doing all the work without hearing at least a little bit of credit or nice compliments on it, right?. I think kind words is what makes us keep striving to customize and perfect our cars. So questions and comments are welcome

Background story on my car:

1997 Black Civic Ex Coupe
bought from a teacher with highway miles
stock except for springs, short shifter, shift ****, fake mugen grill, and Motegi rims (17" yuck)

b20 motor with b16 head with blox valvetrain (rod knock-rod when through block)
95 gsr with b16 head with blox valvetrain (rod knock) yeah I have bad luck apparently

Thanks. Current project is dying my carpet black and spraying my panels black too. Can't wait to put it all back together and see the outcome. Vision for the car is "ALL BLACK EVERYTHING"

how you gonna dye your carpet? I want to paint my oem floormats black so they can match the rest of my interior but im 50/50 about it...

Go to walmart/grocery store get that rit dye get a bucket from holmes depot mix water n dye drink a beer rinse and let dry

 

will post more pix soon. stopped working on the car for 2 years. just did registration and put insurance on the car. Im going to start driving it again. It needs to be painted. I did dye the carpet and spray painted a good amount of the interior panels all black so they arent gray anymore.
