When u delete ur ac pump do u have to get a smaller belt if u do what length?

 

If its on a 4th gen you should be able to go to the parts store and ask them for a belt without the AC included, that is how I got mine.

 

If you run a string and measure it. Give the parts store the measurement and they can match one up. For example if it is 54 inches the belt should be a 540k4. if it was 40 inches the part number would be 400k4. the k4 is how many grooves or how wide the belt is. k4= 4groove belt k6=6groove. That is how autozone and advance measure belts. o'reillys is a little different but they will know what you mean.

 

When I removed the ac from my H22 I used a 360K6 belt.

For an H22 - it's a 36" 6 rib belt


No benefits - if your ac is broken or you just don't want it, you can pull the unit and install a shorter belt

 

your prb only benefit is just weight loss huh a little bit ha

 

Pretty much lol.

If I had to take a guess, i'd say the actual compressor weighs maybe 10lbs
