1991 civic hatch si. the car has had a terrible lean on the back driverside since i got the vehicle. ive swapped shocks and spring to try and fix it, but nothing. its still the same. any help? top is rear pass and bottom is rear driverside.

 

Have you actually checked anything like: bushings, strut mount/apron, bent parts, ect?

 

Yeah. I've also been all up under it with a tape measure trying to figure out why it's doing it. I'm thinkin it a bishing and I just can't actually see it.

 

Anyone? Bc I can't figure it out? This ever happen to someone else or what?

 

try some coilovers and see if u can fix the lean if not then something is bent..

 

body isn't twisted is it?

 

rta bushing completely torn out on one side?

or could you possibly have a trailing arm from a differnt chassis on one side just some ideas..

 

any luck? my experience is spring sag on one side if all else is intact ...

 

check for eccentric/worn out bushings and bent suspension arms.

 

The springs and shocks are fine I can't visibly see any worn out bushings or anything bent and I dot believe the chassis is bent. Someone told me to check if there is a bushing between the shock and the body. I haven't had the time to crawl under it. I'll be checking today.

 

And from what I can tell its never been in any kind of accident.

 

are the bushings for the trailing arms and lower control arms press in press out? like with a shop press? bc ill change all the bushings and go from there.

what about the lower control arm bushings?

 

i know how to press them out and in. i just want to make sure i dont bust them bc they arent supposed to be pressed out.

 

any specific way to check the bushings? bc i was told they could all be a little worn out and add up the that bad of a lean.
