Default HELP! 99 GSR swap in 98 EK chassis with stock harness.

Hi guys I had a 99 GSR swap in a 98 EK civic, I used the stock harness and did some mods for the IACV, knock sensor, and Crank Position. Last one I ran to was the Intake Air temp sensor. The stock D16Y7 sensor was located on the INTAKE airbox itself, while the GSRs are on the intake manifold. Going to bar soon I was wondering if anyone could help and give some tips on what I should do. COuld i just cut the old single cam plug and use the GSR one to use the Air Temp sensor instead of the one on the intake? Thanks!!!!!!!

Yeah, if it doesn't reach and it's the same type of connector then just extend the wires.

The 2 plugs are different, I'm using the Air Temp Sensor from the GSR. But The plug on my harness was for the Intake Air Temp Sensor. I'm wondering if I should take the plug from the GSR harness and wire it into my stock Ek harness was my question so it would plug.

Also, from what I've heard when you BAR you have to have the Intake Air Temp in as well :/

Yeah, that should work. Are there the same number of wires on each plug?

they are both intake air temp sensors there just in different places . so yes use the plug off the gsr harness and wire it to your y7 harness and use the gsr sensor .

Pretty sure the D series has a different plug on the harness for AIT sensor. You can just use the one off the GSR harness, wire it in (2 wires both plugs will have the same color wires) and call it a day. My 98 Hx had a different AIT plug than the B series, B series is round and D is more square. I just used the D series sensor since it was in the CAI tube so it was easier for my swap.

Check continuity between the pin on the ecu plug and the knock sensor plug. When I swapped mine I mixed my IABs and knock sensor wire up in the harness and had a similar issue.
